For the entire band, V Miles Out
comes following separate and diverse
careers for violinist
Patricia
Moore,
guitarist
David Burton Jr., bassist
Winfred Seamon,
percussionist
Cornelius Jones,
and drummer
Leo Walton.
The group formed in 2004 and
quickly recognized a musical collaboration
that has evolved into a solid force
that amazes audiences. The
opportunity to create, record and
perform collectively as a close knit
family has wonderful advantages for
these prolific musicians.

Violinist
Patricia Moore
has recorded on projects
with Aretha Franklin, Fred
Hammond and Donnie McClurkin
among others and has worked with
many local and diverse groups
including Teddy Harris’s
National Jazz Orchestra.

Guitarist
David Burton Jr.
has performed all over
the Detroit area and has worked
on musical projects for the
state lottery and the Department
of Community Health. He has
recorded with keyboardist Lester
Williams and is prominent in the
gospel arena.

Percussionist
Cornelius Jones
has performed with a host of
local bands and is prolific in
jazz, gospel and R&B music.

Drummer
Leo Walton
has performed with various local
bands. He is a native Detroiter
and has studied with Roy Brooks
and Larry Washington. He’s also
played with jazz greats Pamela
Wise, Wendell Harrison and
Harold McKinney.

Bassist
Winfred Seamon
is also a native
Detroiter who has performed
extensively in Florida and the
Detroit area. He has played for
a variety of local jazz, R&B and
gospel bands.
